Working Bees

Best possible resources and facilities for our Group!

The maintenance and upkeep of our wonderful Scout Hall and surrounds is a vital part in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all members, Leaders and visitors to our hall.

In order to ensure the hall is well maintained we rely on parent assistance at working bees throughout the year to undertake basic maintenance and upkeep.

We always have a list of jobs on the 'development' list to undertake and about once a term hold a working bee in order to keep the place up to standard.

Our next working bee will be held on Sunday 27 August 2017 from 10am to 1pm.

Further working bees for the year will be held on Sunday 27 August and Sunday 29 October.

Current "Tasks" to be completed

  • Hall and Shed Gutters to be cleaned out
  • General tidying up both inside and outside hall
  • Rubbish removal
